Day
1 02 November, 2010 New York City, New York USA
Make your own way to New York.
Welcome to one of the
world's most famous and exciting cities. Broadway, Times Square, the Empire
State Building and Central Park are just some of the celebrated spectacles this
bustling city has to offer. Giovanni da Verrazano was the first European
to glimpse Manhattan Island in 1542, but the area was not explored until Henry
Hudson arrived in 1609. It is said that Peter Minuit bought the entire island
from Native Americans for $24 worth of beads and trinkets in 1629 - the
biggest real estate bargain in history. In 1664 the Dutch
surrendered to a British Fleet, and the town was renamed New York in honor of
the Duke of York. George Washington was inaugurated here in 1789, and for a
time, New York served as the country's capital. Since then, the city has grown
spectacularly and has become one of the most exciting and electrifying cities in
the country - not to mention one of the most rewarding to visit and explore.
Ship sails at 5pm
Day 2 03 November, 2010 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA 8am - 6pm A sense of independence and a willingness to risk everything are deeply ingrained in the culture of Philadelphia, as demonstrated in both its historic buildings of the 1770s and in the award-winning film of the 1970s called Rocky. It could be no more perfect that a story of an underdog fighter who rises to the top would take place here; Philadelphia's history is replete with dramatic struggles, most importantly the ones that founded a nation and established liberty as a worthy ideal. With your visit to America's birthplace, you will have a chance see the places that figured so prominently in peeling away from England and establishing a united government. The Liberty Bell, the Betsy Ross House, Carpenters' Hall and Independence Hall are all within the city centre. Of course, don't miss a stop at the Museum of Art, where you can climb the steps where Sylvester Stallone jogged to the top of the box office charts.
Day 3 04 November, 2010 Cruising the Atlantic Ocean Like people, all brands have distinct personalities. Guests who know them well would say that Crystal Cruises is authentic, warm and refined. That they are like a good friend or a gracious family member, who genuinely enjoys seeing guests smile. It's hard to put into words just how welcome you feel when you first board their ships and how that feeling continues throughout the cruise. It’s hard to put into words how special you feel every moment of every day. The luxury is evident everywhere without being pretentious. The service is sometimes described as "classic" and often called "award-winning," Whatever the adjective…Crystal Cruises' service is always first-rate, and is genuine, and unremitting, without being intrusive. Crystal certainly achieve their goal which is to make every guest feel special and at ease.
This first full day at sea is perfect for you to design your day exactly as you wish: pamper yourself at the Feng Shui-inspired Crystal Spa, work-out at the state-of-the-art fitness centre or Walk-on-Water along the 360o Promenade Deck; teach yourself something new with complimentary language lessons by Berlitz or piano instruction with Yamaha; enhance your computer skills at our Computer University@Sea or learn about art, history and worldly destinations with the engaging lecture series; sneak away to watch recently-released movies in the Hollywood Theatre, shop in luxury boutiques, or simply relax by one of the tranquil pools. From Tai Chi and yoga to PGA golf instruction and paddle tennis on full-size courts, today is all about you. As evening arrives, dine on the inspired cuisines of Nobu Matsuhisa, Piero Selvaggio and Crystal’s own acclaimed chefs, enjoy special wine-makers dinners, lavish Broadway-style productions, intimate lounges, a pulsing dance club or our action-packed Crystal Casino. The choices are yours.

Day 4 05
November, 2010 Charleston, South Carolina, USA 8am -
11pm
As America's most beautifully preserved architectural and historic treasure,
Charleston is steeped in a 300-year past. Hundreds of significant and lovingly
preserved structures from the colonial and antebellum periods grace the Historic
District's narrow streets and is best appreciated in the company of a
knowledgeable local guide. Discover some of the old-time bustling
plantations from the period of the Revolution and absorb the haunting character
which still lingers in this southern city.
Day 5 06
November, 2010
Cruising the Atlantic Ocean By now, first time Crystal cruisers, will
understand just why it is that we love sea days on board so much. A
full day to do exactly as much or as little as you wish. Perhaps consider
Yamaha instruction - it really is so much fun.
Crystal Cruises has
partnered with Yamaha to provide instruments and instructors as part of the
Creative Learning Institute, "Passport to Music" program. Keyboard lessons are
available onboard and are complimentary. Each class accommodates 12 to 15
guest-students at a time for up to six 60-minute sessions. Students learn the
rudiments of the piano and up to a dozen popular songs, with help from Yamaha's
time-tested teaching method.
Day 6 07
November, 2010 Miami, Florida, USA 8am - 9pm
It has the largest city population
in Florida, is the third most visited American city among international
travellers and showcases an Art Deco Historic District encompassing one of the
largest neighbourhoods entered on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
Miami certainly boasts its share of impressive characteristics, even before
adding to the list its gorgeous beaches, spirited Cuban population and ritzy
enclaves of Coral Gables and Coconut Grove. Miami wasn't always the
glamorous and energetic city you see today. Until the late 1800s, it was mostly
swamp, disconnected from the rest of the country thanks to its position on the
edge of the continent and lack of the essential link of the day: a railroad. All
that changed in 1896, when the railroad in northern Florida was extended to the
latent tropical paradise of the south. The rest, as they say, is history, as
Miami has since seen recurrent booms fuelled by surges of immigration,
perennially good weather and an insouciant refusal to do anything halfway.
Admire the full glory of Miami Beach with a stroll along South Beach's famous
Ocean Boulevard, where splendidly restored art deco buildings compete with
fashion models and sun worshipers for attention. For a taste of Cuban cuisine
and culture, visit Little Havana on the mainland (Miami Beach is separate both
in its municipality and its geography: it sits on a barrier island four miles
off the coast, and is reached by a causeway). Also outside mainland Miami are
the acres of rare tropical plants nurtured to their fragrant and beautiful best
in Fairchild Tropical Gardens. The aforementioned slice of heaven known as Coral
Gables lies to the southwest. A gem of 1920s city planning, the city unfurls
impressive boulevards and features the alluring Venetian Pool, where waterfalls
and underwater caves offer the chance for a uniquely refreshing dip.
Day 7 08 November, 2010 Cruising the Caribbean Sea A day to relax or perhaps enjoy some of the lectures & enrichment programmes on board. The popular Crystal Visions Enrichment Program and Creative Learning Institute are offered on every cruise and include a noted destination expert who lectures on the regions visited during the cruise, plus at least one other respected enrichment speaker who shares insights into his or her particular world.

Day
8 09 November, 2010 Grand Cayman/George Town, British West Indies
9am - 6pm
Grand
Cayman boasts endless beaches that are encircled by coral reefs teeming with an
abundance of marine life. On shore, affluent colonial neighborhoods dominate the
West Bay area, while the East End affords natural attractions such as
spectacular blowholes and fragrant botanical gardens. Its quaint
capital, George Town, offers British charm and tempting duty-free bargains.
Shopping highlights include black coral fashioned into exquisite jewelry,
imported woolens, elegant china and gleaming silverware. After
shopping and sightseeing, enjoy relaxing on that magnificent crescent of sand,
Seven Mile Beach.
Day 9 10 November, 2010 Cruising the Caribbean Sea Crystal Cruises Creative Learning Institute offers a variety of interactive classes in the fields of Arts & Entertainment, Business & Technology, Lifestyle, Wellness and Wine & Food. ACBL experts offer instruction in most levels of Bridge, professional ballroom dancers share their tips on improving dance steps, and on most sailings, a qualified PGA pro leads a series of golf classes.
Day 10 11 November, 2010
Cartagena, Colombia 7am - 3pm
Charming Cartagena is one of the most fascinating
towns in South America. The old city, almost completely surrounded by lagoons,
bays and the Caribbean Sea, is still girded by its 17th-century fortifications.
Once these guarded the gold and treasures of the New World, bound for Spain; now
they shelter ornate churches and convents, the dramatic Palace of the
Inquisition, and other historic gems.

Day 13 14 November, 2010 Caldera, Costa Rica 5am - 9pm Superlatives abound when describing Costa Rica, one of Latin America's most peaceful countries. Often called the "Switzerland of Central America," it does not possess an army and boasts a stable democratic government as well as a high literacy rate. Strategically located between two great continents, it has been the benefactor of great cultural contributions from each. In addition to discovering its fascinating traditions, visitors to Costa Rica will be welcomed by friendly people and will enjoy superb scenery and an ideal climate.
Day 14
& 15 15 & 16 November, 2010
Cruising the Pacific Ocean
Two glorious days at sea . One stroll about the public
areas on any Crystal cruise and you will discover
entertainment at practically every turn. There's a
headline show every evening in the Galaxy Lounge. There
is frequently music in the Crystal Cove and a pianist
performs nightly in the Avenue Saloon. A string ensemble
entertains in the Palm Court during Afternoon Tea.
Entertainment may also be found at various times in
other venues including the Crystal Dining Room, the
Starlite Club, the Stardust Club, the Club 2100, on the
Lido Deck, and more.
On most cruises, a qualified PGA pro is on board to
offer golf classes and clinics. You'll find driving
range nets and a putting green, with a supply of
practice clubs and balls. Crystal Cruises now proudly
and exclusively features TaylorMade, the best
performance golf company in the world. On board products
include TaylorMade's #1 ranked drivers used by PGA pros
to lead in distance, accuracy and total driving company.
Complete sets of TaylorMade clubs are also available for
rental to use in ports where you may wish to play.
If golf isn't your game, how about paddle tennis or
shuffleboard? You'll enjoy a full-size, enclosed paddle
tennis court on the ship-top Sun Deck. For jogging,
walking, stretching and fresh air, there's the Promenade
Deck, nearly a quarter-mile around for walking or
jogging. Our two pools, the indoor/outdoor Neptune Pool
and the full-length Seahorse Pool and adjoining
Jacuzzi®, are located on the Lido Deck. Sunbathe, snooze
and read while enjoying a refreshing drink poolside in
the afternoon.
Day 16 17 November, 2010 Acapulco, Mexico 8am - 6pm Spectacularly situated where rugged mountains meet the sea, legendary Acapulco is the gathering place for pleasure-seekers from around the world. Considered Mexico's capital of fun, it is its most glamorous Pacific resort. Outdoor activities abound, from aquatic sports to golf at emerald green courses. Golden beaches await you and glistening seas beckon swimming, snorkelling and surfing enthusiasts. Thrill at the sight of the La Quebrada cliff-divers cutting into azure seas or browse through an array of boutiques that boast treasures of silver, fine lacquers and pottery. After dark, the sound of mariachi music and a vibrant disco beat fills the air while horse-drawn carriages clatter along the colourful streets. It is hard to believe that not so long ago this resort town was an inconspicuous fishing village, but secrets such as Acapulco are hard to keep.
Day 17 18 November, 2010 Cruising the Pacific Ocean By now you are very much at home on board and realise our wonderful cruise is almost over. It's a rush to fit everything into the few days left. Odyssey Art at Sea classes, the only creative arts program designed for luxury cruise ship guests, are offered on sea days, taught by specially trained instructors. Classes are varied. Watercolor painting, using nature and often ports visited as themes, is very popular. Crafts are offered as well. Often, these crafts relate to the area in which the ship is traveling and the local art is often explored. The materials range from the traditional to the cutting edge and are of the highest quality. An art show of the guests' work is held in the Crystal Cove before the cruise ends. Complimentary Bridge instruction and supervised games are offered by an accredited ACBL instructor on every cruise. The popular Computer University@Sea program is offered on all cruises. CU@Sea provides e-mail services, Internet access, group and individual instruction on use of a PC, extensive enrichment course offerings and digital camera support. Each ship has at least 25 state-of-the-art workstations. Complimentary classes are offered each cruise. Details of these are listed in the onboard daily newsletter Reflections.

7am - 1pm
Cabo San Lucas is nestled on the southernmost tip of the
Baja Peninsula, where the cool currents of the Pacific
Ocean meet the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez.
Commanding rock formations, timeless desert and a
translucent sea provide a compelling introduction to
this tranquil resort town. Here, mile upon
mile of golden sandy coves dot the shoreline while
marlin and sailfish frolic in the waters offshore. Laze
on a deserted beach, explore the undersea world or
discover bustling shops and markets for tempting
treasures such as silver, jewellery and wooden
sculptures.
